Gildardo Partida Visits Yankee Spirits

There’s something unforgettable about meeting the maker behind your favorite spirit. On a festive Friday afternoon, tequila lovers gathered at Yankee Spirits for a rare opportunity to connect with Gildardo Partida—Master Tequilero and the man behind Adictivo Tequila. What followed was a celebration of craftsmanship, culture, and community just in time for Cinco de Mayo.

On May 3rd, Gildardo Partida, the Master Tequilero behind Adictivo Tequila and a third-generation tequila maker, made a special trip north to Yankee Spirits in Norwood, Massachusetts. Known for his deep-rooted passion and craftsmanship, Gildardo brought with him not just bottles, but stories — drawing in a crowd of tequila lovers eager to meet the man behind the brand. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as fans gathered for a rare opportunity to connect directly with one of the most respected names in the tequila world.

Throughout the evening, guests were treated to guided tastings of Adictivo’s celebrated lineup — including the crisp Plata, the balanced Reposado, the smooth Añejo, and the rich, complex Extra Añejo. As he poured, Gildardo spoke with attendees about the distillation process, the aging barrels used, and the traditions passed down through his family. He also took time to sign bottles, take photos, and personally thank visitors for their support, making the event feel intimate and personal despite the large turnout.

To add to the festivities, guests walked away with branded Adictivo t-shirts and hats — a fun and thoughtful touch that made the night even more memorable. With Cinco de Mayo just around the corner, the event couldn’t have come at a better time. Thanks to the coordination between Yankee Spirits, Stoller Imports, and Gildardo himself, this special evening brought together culture, craftsmanship, and community in a way that left everyone raising a glass in appreciation.

Cheers and Happy Cinco!
